For the third year in a row, Blue Water Theatre Company is delighted to be offering a summer theatre camp for elementary school students!
Taking place weekdays from July 14 through July 25, the camp will be open to students currently in grades 3 through 5 (2013-2014 school year). Registration is first-come, first-served, so don't delay. This camp is limited to just 30 young people.
The camp will introduce students to the process of putting together a show, including everything from the acting, singing and dancing to the creation of costume pieces. It will conclude with two free public performances of the show at 7:00 on Friday, July 25 and at 2:00 on Saturday, July 26.
We are also pleased to announce that Allison Scally, choir director at Wayzata Central Middle School, will be leading this exciting experience for the second year in a row. Allison will be assisted by several Blue Water alumni who are currently in college studying to work in education, music or theatre arts.
