2012 Elementary School Summer Theatre Camp
Due to popular demand, Blue Water Theatre Company is delighted to announce that, for the first time, we will be offering in the summer of 2012 a theatre camp specifically for elementary school students!Taking place weekdays from July 16 through July 27, the camp will be open to students currently in grades 2 through 5 (2011-2012 school year). Registration is first-come, first-served. Don't delay -- this camp is limited to 30 young people.
The camp will introduce students to the process of putting together a show, including everything from the acting, singing and dancing to the creation of costume pieces. It will conclude with a free public performance of Disney's The Jungle Book Kids on Friday, July 27.
We are also pleased to announce that Chris Larson, choir and theatre director at Wayzata Central Middle School, will be leading this exciting experience. Chris will be assisted by two Blue Water alumni who are currently in college studying to work in education, music or theatre arts.

WHAT: Summer musical theatre camp for current 2nd through 5th graders (as of February 2012).
WHEN: July 16-20 from 10:00-2:00 and July 23-27 from 10:00-2:00. A single free performance of The Jungle Book will be held on Friday, July 27 at 4:00 in the afternoon.
WHERE: The first nine days will take place at Blue Water Theatre Company in the Wayzata Home Center (1250 E. Wayzata Boulevard). The public performance on July 27 will take place at Wayzata Central Middle School (305 Vicksburg Lane, Plymouth).
