DROWSY CHAPERONE CAST LIST:
The Drowsy Chaperone has been cast! Thank you to all who auditioned. We did have to make significant cuts during this process. We hope that, even if you did not make the final list, that we will see you again at some point down the line.
Click HERE to view the cast list. Note that there is a column for the “role” being played (if you are a named character). There is also a second column that lists understudies. Understudies will be called to all of the rehearsals for which their understudied character is called.
FIRST REHEARSAL NOTE: Due to about 1/4 of the cast (including many of the principal characters) being involved in a choir festival on Monday, March 9, we will not have a rehearsal on that evening as previously announced.
The first rehearsal (FULL CAST) for The Drowsy Chaperone will take place from 7:00-9:30 on Tuesday, March 10. It will be a read-through, so feel free to bring pillows, blankets, etc, to be comfortable while sitting on the floor.

Show Description (from MTIshows.com):
With the houselights down, a man in a chair appears on stage and puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life and The Drowsy Chaperone begins as the man in the chair looks on. Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a misguided Don Juan, and an intoxicated chaperone, and you have the ingredients for an evening of a madcap delight. Hailed by New York Magazine as, “The Perfect Broadway Musical,” The Drowsy Chaperone is a masterful meta-musical, poking fun at all the tropes that characterize the musical theatre genre.
