Thank you to all who auditioned for ABDUCTED. You can view the cast list by clicking HERE. The list was also emailed out to the cast this morning. If you are on the cast list, but did not receive an email, please contact Timothy Radermacher.
We will see you all at 7:00pm on Friday, August 10!
BWTC is excited to announce the second annual 24-hour musical! From the brilliant minds behind such classics as THE FORTY YEAR OLD VEGETABLE and WWE: THE MUSICAL* comes ABDUCTED! We can’t really tell you much more than the title of the show, as part of the fun of the 24-hour musical experience is that none of the actors will have read the script — or will know anything about the show — until the rehearsal begins.
The cast and crew will meet for the first time on Friday, August 10 at 7:00pm. The entire rehearsal process will take place in one 24-hour period (ending on Saturday, August 11 at 7:00pm), including choreography, blocking, costuming, set construction, and group stretching. Two performances will take place on Saturday, August 11 — one at 7:00pm and one at 9:00pm. It will probably even be fun!
*Not a real musical.
WHAT IS THIS? We told you. It’s an entire musical put together, start to finish, in just 24-hours. It’s going to be great … uh … “fun” … Or great … uh … something …
WHEN ARE AUDITIONS? Auditions will be held at BWTC on Wednesday, August 8 from 8:00-9:00pm. If you cannot make the scheduled audition time, please contact Timothy Radermacher to set up something else. Actors cast will be informed the following day, on Thursday, August 9.
WHEN IS THE SHOW? The cast of ABDUCTED will meet at 7:00pm on Friday, August 10 and will rehearse all through the night and throughout the next day in preparation for two performances on Saturday, August 11 — one at 7:00pm and one at 9:00pm
WHO CAN BE IN THIS? If you a current or alumni BWTC actor ages 15-22, you may audition!
IF I MAKE THE SHOW, WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Pillows/blankets/sleeping bags (there will be some adult chaperone supervised “sleeping time”), toothbrush and whatever else you need to stay hygienically “fresh,” $25 cash or check (so that we can pay for the food we are going to feed you), and a good sense of humor and adventure!
QUESTIONS: If you have questions about the show, please contact Timothy Radermacher. If you have questions about the experience, especially related to how it will be organized and supervised to ensure that is a positive experience for all involved, contact Charlie Leonard.
