The first rehearsal will be held on Sunday, February 18. An email will be sent to you by the end of the day on Saturday, February 17 giving you your call time. If you don’t receive an email by 9:00pm, please email Charlie Leonard.

AUDITIONS FOR ALL-FEMALE VERSION OF MACBETH TO TAKE PLACE FEBRUARY 12 & 13
BWTC is excited to be announcing a very special project for young women actors! BWTC alum Katie O’Halloran (BFA in Musical Theatre, The Boston Conservatory) and Bridget McNiff (BFA in Drama, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts) are teaming up to direct an all-female version of Shakespeare’s tragedy MACBETH.
WHO: This production is open to female actors who are currently in grades 8 through 12 (2017-2018 school year).
AUDITIONS: Auditions will take place on Monday, February 12 and Tuesday, February 13 from 6:30-8:30. Young women who wish to audition should sign up for a five-minute time slot HERE. Auditionees should prepare a two-minute Shakespeare monologue of their choice to present at their audition, OR auditionees may choose to present one of the three options you can find HERE. Callbacks for select actors will take place from 6:30-8:30 on Wednesday, February 14.
REHEARSALS: Rehearsals for MACBETH will begin on Sunday, February 18. They will generally run every Sunday from 12:00-5:00 and every Wednesday from 6:00-9:00. Additional rehearsals may be called at the discretion of the director, and there will definitely be additional rehearsals during tech week.
PERFORMANCES: There will be three public performances of MACBETH – Friday, April 20 at 7:00pm, Saturday, April 21 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, April 22 at 2:00pm.
