Agatha Christie’s THE MOUSETRAP

Mousetrap PosterBlue Water Theatre Company is proud to present Agatha Christie’s THE MOUSETRAP, the longest-running show in theatre history. The epitome of the murder mystery, THE MOUSETRAP tells the story of six strangers lodging in Monkswell Manor, an aging guesthouse in rural Britain. Stranded by a snowstorm, they learn that among them is a murderer, and before long they begin to die. Battling with paranoia, the elements, and a cunning opponent, Detective Sergeant Trotter has his pick of suspects. There are the young couple who own Monkswell, the aging Army major, the mysterious Italian who arrives unexpectedly, the misanthropic old woman, the sly and silent spinster, and the strange young architect who seems to know nothing about architecture. All are hiding secrets. One is a murderer. And time is growing short…

Running in London since 1952, THE MOUSETRAP is the most successful mystery play in the history of the genre. Written by Agatha Christie, the creator of Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, it’s an entertainment you won’t want to miss.
