Little Shop of Horrors

The employees of Mushnik’s Skid Row Florists are hoping for a miracle. Audrey dreams of a life away from her sadistic-dentist-boyfriend Orin Scrivello (DDS!) in a greener locale than dirty Skid Row, and Seymour pines for Audrey, wishing he could get up the gumption to leave his tenuous life living below the flower shop. When, during a total eclipse of the sun, a strange and interesting new plant is deposited in Seymour’s hands, things seem to be looking up—but the unique vegetable’s penchant for feeding on human blood could become an issue…

The bizarre and bloodthirsty “Little Shop of Horrors” has been eating audiences alive for over 50 years, first as a low-budget B-movie, and, in later incarnations, as the Alan Menken-scored musical extravaganza that revolutionized off-Broadway theatre.
