Students currently in Gr. 6-12 are invited to audition for our July production of this popular musical!

REHEARSALS:
Rehearsals will be held M-TH evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am – noon. All actors will not be called for every rehearsal.
PERFORMANCES:
Friday, July 12 & 19, 2024 at 7:00 pm
Saturday, July 13 & 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm
Sunday, July 14 & 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm
TO AUDITION IN-PERSON:

SIGN UP for a 5-minute audition slot on May 20th or 21st. Auditions will be held at the theatre from 6:00-9:00 pm.

FILL OUT the Actor Audition Form (one per youth) to provide general information and indicate any conflicts with the schedule. Make sure the form has been submitted before you audition.

BE READY to sing 16-32 bars of a song (from a musical or another artist of your choosing) and recite a short monologue (up to 1 minute). Songs can be sung a cappella or you may play a music track from a phone. Monologues can come from a script of a play, a poem, a chapter book, or other sources. Get creative and pick something that is funny or shows emotion and your uniqueness.

FILL OUT the Actor Audition Form (one per youth) to provide general information and indicate any conflicts with the schedule.

RECORD a short video. State your name, sing 16-32 bars of your prepared song, and recite your monologue. Upload your video to an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link and email that link to info@bluewatertheatre.com by 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 21st. Include your full name and GREASE in the subject line of the email.
CASTING:
Callbacks, if needed, will be held on May 23rd from 7:00-9:00 pm. Invitations to callbacks will be sent via email on May 22nd. An invitation to callbacks does not guarantee a role in the show. Actors who are not invited to callbacks may still be cast in the production.
The final cast list will be posted on this webpage by May 25th at 9:00 pm.
TUITION:
$435 per youth due by June 3rd. Payment plans and scholarships (full, half, and partial) are available.
